Welcome.

It’s the year 2015. Jen Rubio was struggling to find a suitcase that checked all the boxes after her suitcase malfunctioned at an airport. The market was empty. Few options for a quality bag at a comfortable price. Sure, there is Amazon where you may end up with a suitcase that has a broken zipper, or you could pay over $1,000 for a Rimowa. Neither of those seemed right to Rubio. So where should one go from here? She spent time studying Supply Chain Management in college and knew loads of information about the millennial market. She wondered, “could it be that there is a market for an affordable suitcase with a clean design and one that is well functioning?” Following a few sleepless nights and a few rounds of investments, here we are now. We present to you Away. The coolest suitcase to ever exist, and one that you can count on. Whether you’re a jet-setter or a train goer, our bags have a luxurious feel that never goes out of style. Check us out on social, or on our site, or on every publication out there. We have the five stars and we have you, our favorite people on earth, our customers.

Away is more than just a luggage company. It’s a lifestyle. That’s why we also sell bags and accessories. Our ethos is to make traveling easy, and look good doing it.

With a lifetime warranty, we guarantee that your favorite product won’t break. It’s built to last, just as we humans are. We can get through anything, especially our long travel days. So what are you waiting for? There is no better time to buy your dream travel line than right now. See you on the site.

    Hi Madison,

I love how simple and minimalistic yet beautiful your site’s design looks! Your blog post is amazing and very interesting. For the main page, I’d just recommend adding some information about the company so that visitors can understand who you are without needing to surf through the page.

    Great job,
    Alina

oops sorry, Danielle. Disregard my previous comment – I used the wrong name as I was looking at Madison’s site before yours. That was meant for you, Danielle!

    Once again, sorry about this!

    Hi Danielle,

I love the idea! I can already see myself buying your suitcase. You did a great job creating the website, and it looks very realistic and professional. My only suggestion would be to add a background color that aligns more with your brand identity and guidelines instead of the white one.

      Hi Radwa,

Thank you for the suggestion. I like that idea. Perhaps a beige or light grey could go nicely.

    Hi Danielle,

Great job on your website! One suggestion I have is to include more travel themed imagery. You could use images of major cities, or maybe a plane. This will help the viewer feel inspired!
